Mental Health Services

The Kings View PATH program is aimed at outreaching to mentally ill homeless individuals in Fresno County and linking them up with available housing resources, medical care, mental health and social services. Staff goes to where the homeless are located and engage the potential clients in an effort to assess their mental health needs and whether they are aware of the various mental health services that Fresno County provides, ideally linking them up with needed services.

Additionally PATH maintains a caseload of 30 Seriously Mentally III (SMI) individuals in stable housing, providing them with a wide range of mental health services in assisting them back to a higher level of independence. If that is not possible due to the chronicity of their mental illness, Kings View works closely with the consumer to obtain Social Security Disability benefits.
